“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
I love this verse! I especially like the line, “The Lord is the strength of my life.” What a powerful statement!
I’m striving more and more to live by that line. Too many times I try to do too many things in my own strength, and fail miserably.

“I urge you now to live the life to which God called you.” Ephesians 4:1 I’ve been contemplating this verse lately. Am I doing what God has called me to do? Am I living the life that He has for me, or am I living for myself? It’s so easy to get caught up in just living life as it rolls along. As Christians, our lives are not our own to live as we see fit. Our lives, my life, has been brought by a price.

Lately we have been talking about how to witness to our friends. As we have been talking, we don’t have to defend God’s Word. God’s Word stands on it’s own. But when we get in conversations with others, the topic of the Bible’s validity may come up. I hope that you may be able to use some of this information when you discuss it with your friends.
